Ramyaa is a Hindi crime drama directed by Santosh Parab. Set in the dark and violent underworld of late-1990s Mumbai, the film explores how intelligence and strategy can become powerful weapons in a ruthless criminal world.
The story follows a brilliant software engineer who is falsely accused of a crime and forced into survival inside a corrupt prison system. As he navigates betrayal, violence, and revenge, his transformation from an ordinary man into a calculating force in the underworld forms the core of the narrative.
In late-1990s Mumbai, Ramakant Rajaram Sawant—known as Ramyaa—is a talented software engineer whose life takes a devastating turn when he is falsely framed for attempted murder. Thrown into a brutal and corrupt prison environment, he quickly becomes the target of assassins sent by powerful crime lord Anna Shetty.
Ramyaa narrowly survives the attack when another inmate connected to the feared gangster Jaggu Dada intervenes. After his release, he finds himself alone and vulnerable in a city that wants him eliminated.
Recognizing Ramyaa’s sharp intelligence, Jaggu Dada’s lieutenant Munna tests his survival skills and strategic thinking. Passing the test through careful planning and restraint, Ramyaa gradually earns a place within the criminal network.
As he rises through the ranks, Ramyaa’s ultimate goal becomes clear—revenge against Anna Shetty. While a violent turf war erupts across Mumbai, Ramyaa uses his analytical mind to dismantle his enemy’s empire from within, even as a determined journalist named Vaishali forces him to question the cost of his obsession.
